Buttock Filler Treatment Overview

Buttock filler is a non-surgical enhancement designed to increase volume, shape and contour using specialised dermal fillers. The product is carefully injected beneath the skin to create a smoother, fuller and more lifted appearance without the need for surgery or implants. Results are often visible immediately and continue to improve as swelling reduces and the filler settles naturally into the tissue.
This minimally invasive treatment is performed under local anaesthetic and allows for a shorter recovery period compared to surgical alternatives. Proper aftercare is essential to support healing, optimise results and ensure the filler settles evenly.
Aftercare Instructions
Please follow the steps below carefully to protect your results and reduce the risk of complications.
Day 0 to Day 2: Immediate Aftercare
Avoid pressure on the treated areaFor the first 48 hours, avoid sitting directly on your buttocks wherever possible. If sitting is unavoidable, use a soft cushion and change position frequently. Excess pressure can affect how the filler settles.
Sleep positioningSleep on your stomach or side for the first few nights. Avoid sleeping on your back to prevent pressure on the treated area.
Rest and hydrationRest on the day of treatment and drink plenty of water to support healing and minimise swelling.
Cold compressesApply a cold compress wrapped in a cloth for short intervals to reduce swelling and discomfort. Do not apply ice directly to the skin.
Pain managementMild discomfort is normal. Paracetamol may be taken if needed. Avoid anti-inflammatory or blood-thinning medication unless advised by your practitioner.
Day 3 to Day 7: Early Healing
Limit prolonged sittingAvoid sitting for longer than 30 to 45 minutes at a time. Stand, walk or lie on your side or stomach when resting.
Light activity onlyGentle walking is encouraged, but avoid gym workouts, cycling, squats or strenuous lower-body exercise.
Loose clothingWear loose, breathable clothing to prevent pressure or friction around the treated area.
Weeks 2 to 4: Continued Care
Gradual return to normal sittingMost clients can return to normal sitting after the first week, but this should be done gradually and based on comfort.
Avoid heat and intense exerciseContinue to avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, sunbeds and strenuous exercise for up to two weeks.
Do not massage the areaAvoid massaging or applying pressure to the treated area unless you have been specifically instructed to do so by your practitioner.
Follow-up appointmentsAttend any scheduled review appointments so your practitioner can assess healing and final results.
