AM I ELIGIBLE?

This course is designed for medics and non-medics who are injectable trained or microneedling trained and have been practicing for 6 months. If you’re not injectable trained, you can attend our beginners course, Ultimate Aesthetics, to gain injectable qualification before attending this course.

ABOUT THE COURSE

The use of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) as a treatment modality for skin rejuvenation has been increasing rapidly over the past decade. Platelets become the logical choice for replacement and renewal of cells, tissues, or organs due to low invasiveness/high healing, easy availability, and abundance in growth factors.

The one day course is split between practical and theory-based modules including

Upon completion of this course, you will be issued a certificate which is certified by IPHM in the following areas:

What You’ll Learn:

  • The science behind PRP and growth factors

  • Indications, contraindications, and patient suitability

  • Blood draw techniques and infection control

  • Centrifugation protocols and PRP preparation

  • Treatment planning for facial rejuvenation, under-eye, and hair restoration

  • Injection techniques: nappage, mesotherapy, and targeted placement

  • Managing bruising, swelling, and downtime

  • Pre- and post-treatment care and aftercare protocols

  • Course structuring, treatment intervals, and pricing strategies

Practical Training:

  • Hands-on PRP preparation and injection on live models

  • Safe venepuncture and clinical handling protocols

  • Supervised practice in a controlled clinical setting
