The course aligns with NHS England Guidelines and the Royal College of Nursing Sharps Safety Document, providing learners with evidence-based practices to reduce risk and maintain a safe environment for both clients and practitioners. The course is a blend of home study theory and remote MCQ. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS - Level 4 qualification in a related sector or equivalent or - QUALIFI Level 4 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice or equivalent or - QUALIFI Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic Procedures for Skin Rejuvenation, including unit AP301: Skincare to Support Aesthetic Procedures Or - QUALIFI Level 4 Diploma in Micropigmentation or equivalent And - Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and anaphylaxis management qualification In addition, all learners must prove they hold a relevant English language qualification if English is not their first language. QUALIFICATION: The QUALIFI Level 5 Award in Needle-stick Injury, Infection Prevention and Control is made up of 1 credit, which equates to 10 hours of TQT.
