The Qualifi Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic Procedures for Skin Rejuvenation is designed to provide learners with the scientific knowledge, practical skills, and professional understanding required to perform non surgical aesthetic treatments safely and effectively, bridging theory with practice to prepare practitioners for delivering advanced skin rejuvenation procedures in clinical and salon settings. Learners will develop a strong understanding of health, safety, and hygiene principles to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, alongside the ability to carry out thorough client consultations for accurate assessment, treatment planning, and the delivery of personalised aesthetic procedures.
The course explores cell biology, anatomy, and skin morphology, enabling learners to understand how the skin and body respond to treatment and the effects of ageing, while also gaining practical competence in microneedling and superficial chemical peels to improve skin texture, tone, and overall appearance. In addition, the qualification includes training in professional skincare practices to prepare and maintain the skin for aesthetic treatments. On completion, learners will be fully equipped to perform a range of safe and effective skin rejuvenation procedures and progress confidently within advanced aesthetic practice, with the course delivered through a blend of home study theory and practical training, all hands-on elements taking place at the Hale Barns Academy in Cheshire.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
Learners will be able to apply essential health, safety, and hygiene principles when preparing for and carrying out aesthetic procedures. They will ensure all treatments are performed in accordance with current legislation, professional standards, and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both client and practitioner.
Learners will be able to conduct professional client consultations to assess individual needs, identify contraindications, and determine the most suitable aesthetic procedures. They will adapt treatments to achieve optimal outcomes while maintaining high standards of communication, ethics, and client care.
Learners will develop a thorough understanding of the biochemistry and biology of cells, including cellular function, specialisation, and organisation. They will also understand the structure and function of major organ systems, skin morphology, and the inflammatory response, as well as facial anatomy and the physiological effects of ageing on the skin and facial bones.
Learners will gain knowledge of common skin types, diseases, and disorders relevant to aesthetic practice. They will understand the ageing process of the skin and the underlying anatomy, including muscles and nerve supply, to support safe and effective treatment planning and delivery.
Learners will be able to perform skin rejuvenation using microneedling techniques, employing both automated and manual devices to improve skin texture, tone, and condition. They will understand how to treat mild pigmentary and textural concerns safely and effectively while ensuring client comfort and post-treatment care.
Learners will be able to select and apply superficial chemical peels to rejuvenate the skin and reduce imperfections. They will understand the principles of chemical exfoliation, product selection, and treatment protocols necessary to achieve professional outcomes and maintain skin health.
