ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of one of the Level 4 qualifications in a related sector (see below for examples). Plus current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and anaphylaxis management qualification. In addition, all learners must prove they hold a relevant English language qualification if English is not their first language.

The Qualifi Level 5 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice is an advanced qualification designed to equip learners with the scientific knowledge, technical skills, and professional expertise required to deliver non-surgical aesthetic procedures safely, effectively, and ethically. The course integrates theoretical understanding with practical application, preparing practitioners to work confidently in advanced aesthetic practice.
Learners will develop a thorough understanding of legal, regulatory, and clinical requirements, ensuring all procedures comply with current legislation, professional standards, and clinical governance frameworks. The programme also emphasises professional, ethical, and sustainable principles, supporting responsible, client-centred practice while maintaining high standards of integrity and accountability.
The course provides learners with advanced knowledge of skin science, including pathology, biochemistry, biophysics, anatomy, physiology, and morphology. This scientific foundation underpins all practical work, ensuring treatments are evidence-based and clinically appropriate. Learners will also develop the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare and other professionals, ensuring safe, multidisciplinary approaches to aesthetic care.
Practical modules focus on advanced procedures such as microneedling and medium grade chemical peels, where learners will gain competence in client assessment, consultation, risk management, treatment delivery, and outcome evaluation. On completion, learners will be fully equipped to perform advanced aesthetic treatments with confidence, professionalism, and clinical precision.
The course is a blend of home study theory and practical’s, with all hands-on training taking place at our Hale Barns Academy in Cheshire.
UNITS
To achieve this qualification a learner must successfully complete the six mandatory units – 37 credits:
- CO503: Legal, Regulatory, and Clinical Requirements for Aesthetic Practice
- CO504: Professional, Ethical, and Sustainable Principles within Aesthetic Practice
- CO505: Working Collaboratively with Healthcare and Other Professionals
- CO506: Advanced Skin Science for Aesthetic Practice
- AP602: Advanced Aesthetic Procedures: Micro-needling
- AP603: Advanced Aesthetic Procedures: Chemical Peels

QUALIFICATION
The QUALIFI Level 5 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice is made up of 37 credits which equates to 370 hours of TQT.

Learners will be able to perform advanced microneedling procedures safely and effectively for facial and body skin rejuvenation.
Learners will be able to carry out medium-grade chemical peel procedures for skin rejuvenation on the face, chest, and hands.
