CO₂ Fractional Laser Aftercare

CO₂ fractional laser creates controlled micro channels in the skin to stimulate deep collagen renewal and resurfacing. This is a powerful treatment and requires careful aftercare to support healing and achieve optimal results.


Day 0 to Day 3: Immediate Aftercare

  1. Expect redness, swelling and warmth Redness, swelling and a sunburn like sensation are normal and expected.

  2. Do not touch or pick the skin The skin will begin to form tiny scabs or crusting. Do not pick, scratch or peel.

  3. Keep the skin clean and moisturised Use only the recommended post treatment products provided or advised.

  4. Avoid makeup Do not apply makeup until the skin has healed and peeling has completed.


Day 4 to Day 10: Healing Phase

  1. Allow peeling to occur naturally Flaking and peeling are part of the healing process and must not be forced.

  2. Avoid heat and sweating Avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot baths and strenuous exercise.

  3. Strict sun avoidance Avoid sun exposure completely. Use SPF daily once the skin has healed.


Ongoing Care

  1. Active skincare restriction Avoid retinol, acids and exfoliants for at least 4 weeks unless advised.

  2. Protect results Daily SPF is essential to prevent pigmentation and protect new skin.

  3. Results progression Skin texture, tone and firmness continue to improve over several months.
