Microblading Brows Aftercare

Microblading is a semi permanent brow treatment that involves creating fine strokes in the skin to enhance shape, density and symmetry. Proper aftercare is essential for pigment retention, healing and long term results.

Day 0 to Day 3: Immediate Aftercare

  1. Keep brows completely dry Do not allow water, steam or moisture on the brows for the first 7 days unless advised otherwise.

  2. Do not touch, rub or scratch Avoid touching the brows with fingers to prevent infection or pigment loss.

  3. Apply aftercare balm if provided Use only the recommended product and apply sparingly as instructed.

  4. Expect redness and tenderness Redness and mild swelling are normal and usually settle within 24 to 48 hours.

Day 4 to Day 10: Healing Phase

  1. Flaking and scabbing are normal. Brows may flake or form light scabs. Do not pick or peel as this can remove pigment.

  2. Avoid makeup on the brows not apply makeup to the treated area until fully healed.

  3. Avoid heat and sweating Avoid saunas, steam rooms, swimming and heavy exercise.

Weeks 2 to 6: Colour Settling

  1. Colour will soften and fade Brows will appear darker initially and lighten as healing completes.

  2. Avoid active skincare Do not use retinol, acids or exfoliants on the brow area for at least 4 weeks.

  3. Attend your top up appointment A top up is essential to perfect colour retention and shape.
