ABOUT THIS COURSE
The ProQual Level 7 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice is a nationally recognised advanced qualification designed for experienced aesthetic practitioners who wish to develop and demonstrate competence in advanced injectable aesthetic treatments, including botulinum toxin and temporary dermal fillers. Developed in line with Health Education England (HEE) recommendations, the qualification focuses on safe, ethical, and evidence-based aesthetic practice.

The course develops advanced knowledge and practical competence in facial anatomy, consultation, client assessment, treatment planning, injectable therapies, professionalism, ethics, and complication management. Learners will explore facial ageing, psychological aspects of aesthetics, informed consent, safeguarding, prescribing limitations, and regulatory responsibilities within advanced aesthetic practice.

Practical training covers advanced botulinum toxin and dermal filler procedures, including facial anatomy, product selection, dosage calculations, injection techniques, client safety, aftercare, and reflective practice. Learners will also develop the skills required to recognise, prevent, and manage complications associated with aesthetic injectable treatments.

Assessment is completed through a combination of written assignments, professional discussions, practical observations, portfolio evidence, photographic evidence, and reflective practice. Practical competency is assessed through repeated live treatment observations within a professional clinical environment.
