ABOUT THIS COURSE
The Qualifi Level 6 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice is an advanced qualification designed for qualified beauty and aesthetic professionals who wish to expand their clinical expertise and offer a wider range of non surgical cosmetic procedures. This nationally recognised programme provides learners with the theoretical knowledge, technical competence, and professional understanding required to perform advanced aesthetic treatments safely, effectively, and ethically, and is delivered through a blend of home study theory and practical training, with all hands on elements taking place at the Hale Barns Academy in Cheshire. Throughout the course, learners will explore key areas of aesthetic practice including advanced skin analysis, anatomy and physiology of the ageing face and body, and complication management. Practical modules focus on the delivery of advanced treatments such as radio frequency, mesotherapy, skin boosters, microneedling with radio frequency, and vitamin and mineral injections for wellbeing, with each unit designed to develop a strong understanding of treatment protocols, client assessment, and post procedure care.
The qualification emphasises evidence based practice, client safety, and professional standards, supporting learners in building both clinical confidence and commercial success. On completion, practitioners will be equipped to progress their careers in advanced aesthetics, open or expand their own clinics, or continue into higher level qualifications within the aesthetics industry.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Qualifi Level 5 Certificate or Diploma in Aesthetic Practice or equivalent and
Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and anaphylaxis management qualification and
Level 5 award in Needlestick Injury, Infection Prevention and Control qualification.
In addition, all learners must prove they hold a relevant English language qualification if English is not their first language.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Learners will develop the ability to conduct detailed consultations using advanced skin analysis technologies to identify and evaluate a range of skin types, conditions, and lesions. They will apply analytical skills to determine appropriate treatment options within their professional scope and create evidence based management plans tailored to individual clients.
Learners will gain a comprehensive understanding of the anatomical and physiological changes associated with ageing. This knowledge will enable them to assess the skin and underlying structures effectively, apply clinical reasoning, and select suitable aesthetic treatments to support rejuvenation and long term skin health.
Learners will acquire the skills to identify, manage, and accurately document complications arising from non surgical procedures. They will demonstrate the ability to apply safe and effective intervention and escalation procedures, conduct post treatment evaluations, and use reflective practice to support ongoing professional development.
Advanced Aesthetic Procedures: Radio Frequency (optional unit). Learners will develop the competence to perform radio frequency procedures safely and effectively to promote skin rejuvenation and regeneration. They will assess client needs, apply correct treatment parameters, evaluate results, and maintain professional and ethical standards throughout practice.
Advanced Aesthetic Procedures: Mesotherapy (optional unit). Learners will be able to perform advanced mesotherapy treatments safely and effectively to promote skin rejuvenation and regeneration. They will apply appropriate techniques to improve the condition and appearance of the skin and scalp in line with professional and safety standards.
Advanced Aesthetic Procedures: Combining Radio Frequency and Microneedling (optional unit). Learners will develop the skills to perform combined radio frequency and microneedling procedures to stimulate collagen production and support tissue regeneration. They will assess client needs, select suitable parameters, and carry out treatments that enhance skin quality and firmness safely and professionally.
Advanced Aesthetic Procedures: Skin Boosters (optional unit). Learners will gain the competence to carry out skin booster treatments that enhance skin hydration, elasticity, and radiance. They will perform procedures safely and effectively to support skin and body rejuvenation and regeneration.
Vitamin and Mineral Injections for Wellbeing (optional unit). Learners will be able to administer vitamin and mineral injections to support client wellbeing and lifestyle goals. They will apply safe injection techniques and maintain professional standards in line with health and safety and best practice guidelines.
